Physical Verification of Documents of First Year BA./B.Sc./B.Com Newly admitted Students through W. B. Cenrtalized Admission Portal
Verification & Commencement of Classes of UG SEM-I, 2024-25It is hereby notified that the Physical Verification of Documents of Newly Admitted Students of First Year BA./B.Sc./B.Com in the session 2024-25 through W. B. Cenrtalized Admission Portal will be in the College Premises as the following schedule.
FOR VERIFICATION BRING THE FOLLOWING ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS:
- Printed copy of the Application form
- Provisional Admission Confirmation Certificate
- Proof of Date of Birth (e.g., Admit Card of the Madhyamik Examination)
- Mark Sheet of Madhyamik or Equivalent Examination
- Mark Sheet of the Higher Secondary or Equivalent Examination
- Aadhar Card
- Relevant Certificate, if admitted under a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC (A or B) / EWS Certificate/ PWD Certificate).
Regular UG SEM-I classes will begin on August 7, 2024
Commerce Department at 7.30 a.m. and Other Departments at 11 a.m.
Students are advised to report to the College Campus 30 minutes before commencement of the verification with all original documents .

I have the proud privilege to share my views on Jagannath Kishore College, with whom I have been associated for the last twenty-five years initially as a faculty of Physics, and then as the Principal for the last seven years or so. Founded in 1948, and serving as a premiere institution for higher education in Purulia for over seven decades, this college has followed the motto ‘Shraddhavan Lavate Jnanam’( a faithful person achieves knowledge) to its optimum.
